The Role
We're looking for a Product Finance Manager who will embed within our product lines and become the financial partner to our Product and Engineering teams. You'll own the financial story for your product - understanding what drives profitability, informing pricing decisions, and helping the team make smart investment tradeoffs.
This is a hands-on role where you'll build models, analyze customer cohorts, evaluate feature investments, and translate complex product metrics into clear financial narratives. You'll be the finance expert at the product level, helping the team understand what's working, what's not, and where to invest next.
What You’ll Do
- Build and maintain the P&L for your product line, tracking revenue, costs, and profitability
- Develop dashboards and reporting that give Product teams visibility into their economics
- Monitor product metrics and translate them into financial impact
- Partner on pricing strategy, packaging decisions, and monetization approaches
- Prepare product-level reviews for leadership and board meetings
- Improve how we track product-level costs and allocate shared resources
- Partner cross functional partners on corporate planning for your product line
- Track competitive dynamics and their financial implications
What We're Looking for
- 8 years of finance experience with at least 2-3 years in product finance, FP&A, or strategy roles
- Strong analytical and modeling skills - comfortable building complex financial models
- Proficient in SQL, Proficient in Python a huge plus
- Excel/Google Sheets expert; experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.) a plus
- You're scrappy and willing to dig into data yourself
