The Role

We’re looking for a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to help us establish the fundamentals of our Financial Planning & Analysis function. In this role you’ll be hands-on, building from the ground up, working in ambiguous environments with enormous scope for ownership and impact. 

What You'll Do

• Build and manage the company's annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Develop financial models that support decision-making across the organization
• Own the monthly financial review process, providing variance analysis and insights to leadership
• Partner with department heads to understand their business, develop budgets, and track performance
• Translate financial data into actionable insights that drive better business decisions
• Build scalable financial planning processes and tools as we grow
• Improve our reporting capabilities and financial systems
• Identify opportunities to make the business more efficient through better financial operations
• Prepare materials for board meetings, including financial performance updates and scenario planning
• Develop executive-ready presentations that clearly communicate business performance and opportunities
• Support quarterly business reviews and strategic planning sessions

What We're Looking for

• 10-12 years of finance experience, with at least 5 years in FP&A or strategic finance roles
• Self-sufficient and resourceful - you figure things out without needing hand-holding
• Clear communicator who can explain complex financial concepts to non-finance audiences
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills - you can build complex models from scratch
• Excellent business judgment - you understand what drives business performance beyond the numbers
